It depends on the trade — typically £5–£20 per lead. Bigger-ticket trades (extensions, lofts, solar) sit at the top of that range; hire services at the bottom. Your first lead is free, and volume buyers get batch pricing.
No. There's no membership fee, no minimum spend and no contract. You only pay for the leads you choose to take.
The homeowner's name, phone number and email, their postcode, and everything they told us about the job (project type, property, timing). You see the job details and area before you buy — contact details are released once the lead is yours.
Leads are sold on a first-come, first-served basis to a small number of firms at most — never blasted to a long list. Reserve a lead and it comes off the market.
So you can judge the quality before spending a penny. We ask you to add a link to your BestBuilders profile from your website in return.
Air conditioning is our largest single category, but we match enquiries across around 30 trades — extensions, loft conversions, roofing, driveways, solar and EV charging among them. If you cover more than one of these, you can receive matching leads for each trade you list on your profile.
Yes. When you create your profile you set the postcodes or regions you cover, and we only send you enquiries that fall inside that area. You can widen or narrow your coverage at any time by updating your profile — there is no charge to change it.
